Calling all Old OEGEans (and beaux!)

Hey guys, most of the new girls have Facebook, not LJ so I can tell you what is going on! I'm putting together a DVD-slideshow of last semester, I started it during finals last semester and never finished it, but I want to finish it before I go to AR for Spring Sing. But I need your help! I need photos of OEGE&Friends from any time up until last fall. Mixers, functions, etc. - anything. Pick your favorites. The last part of the slideshow is going to be a look back through the last few years to see how we've changed and grown. There are some OEGEans out there who are on LJ but not on my flist, so if you guys could pass the word around, i would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

(ps - Ash, speaking of spring sing, could you look into tickets for me? when they go on sale and how much?)

muahaha for stealing katy's computer!

The Katy and I are going to LR for a final hurrah of fun times. Two more days until I leave!!!

It's really weird to be in Searcy when everyone is gone. And I definitely think my next door neighbors don't realize I'm still there, because they are loud. All the time. Slamming doors and...other things...

ANYWAY, internship is almost over and I'm kinda sad, it's been fun. I've enjoyed working with all these people.

But I did decide something yesterday. We had this brochure for the International Studies programs, that was obviously either designed by an advertising major, or a very young graphic design major because there were a lot of things wrong - and it was definitely a student sort of thing. Anyway, I was analyzing and critiqueing it right there as we were cutting it, and Jason was like, "You're good at that. You should teach it." And I said, "Yeah, that's what I want to do." And I realized - it really is. Like, not just as an afterthought. I really am sort of thinking about it - a lot sooner than I was going to - maybe even doing a grad school thing so I can teach high school or college. *shrug* We'll see. But I'm definitely going to do it. Someday.

Anyway, time to go! See you kids later.

sigh.

So...I stayed up til 3:30 working on my self-promo, finally went to sleep because I couldn't read anymore for my internship, and missed both of my alarms, woke up when Ash called me at 9am and had definitely missed my biology final. Sigh. It's ok, I think I'll still end with a D. And I talked to my graphic design professor today and I'm going to pass his class, but he was really concerned that I was sort of falling off the bandwagon this semester, which is totally true. Hopefully going home and having my mom to keep me accountable again will help keep me in focus. Must needs get my life in order. Ok, time to go to work, because the sooner I get off work, the sooner I am totally having a PARTY at my house tonight. PS if you read this, you're so invited, at 7:30, but...just to warn you there will be...um...non-harding appropriate beverages...yeah...hey I'm graduating leave me alone. OH and how excited am I about the new 6-icon for free accounts? Very. When I have the chance, look for fun new iconage to appear soon.

graduation, graduation...

Rehearsal was today. I felt five.

Anyway, in other news, Stephanie is officially going to pass this semester by the SMALLEST SLIVER OF SKIN ON HER TEETH. Yeesh. I was informed that if I don't turn in something for a late grade, I will fail. Sigh. I was going to turn it in tomorrow anyway though. I just didn't get it done for tonight.

And now I just found out that the library is CLOSED after 5pm tonight and that makes me very very mad because there were things I needed to DO in there!!!!

*fume*

But on the bright side, I have already gotten two rock-awesome christmas presents, one from my lovely Katy - a massaging foot spa! So fun! And one from Ashley - Season 1 of LOST. I am very excited.

Anyway, time to go be social downstairs at the dinner for art senior seminar.

Ok, so summaries fail me today. So may I present...

Today, recap style. )
And that was today! So it was a pretty awesome day. Yeah. Five years since we've placed in Spring Sing. What a way to go, lemme tell you. Walmart will always hold a place in my heart.
